Backup Gmail's data

Why do we need to think of having mail backup? Well, according to Google terms & services, they can terminate their free services any time. This means, they don't give guarantee of data that you have in your mail. Other case could be, if some one hacked into your Mail. How can you get your data back?

Why I am just talking about GMail here? I thought of giving numbers saying that GMail is the highest email client being used. To my surprise, Yahoo is first and Gmail is in 3rd position. Hence reason is, I am fond of GMail.

Well, Lets come to the point. How can we backup the data? There are two ways. One is having Google account backup. Another one is downloading mail content to your hard drive using google back-up application. I am not in favor feeding content. So, please check references for more details. Both ways has cons and pros. In case of hard-drive backup method, mails stored in .eml format and can be opened using outlook email client. Please feel free to ask any questions if you have?.

Poor Nexus one sales

Nexus one, phone branded by Google. A phone with 1 GHz processor, 512 MB flash memory, 5.0 mega pixel camera and many more nice software/hardware features. Though it's technologically rich, this multi-touch phone unable to lure many audience to buy.

1 million iPhones were sold in 74 days, where as Nexus one, only 135,000 were sold. What could be the reason for this poor number? Pause..... In my view, there are two main reasons for this. Firstly, it came late Market is fully occupied with iPhone and others. In general, no one will buy one more phone when they have one. Secondly, Google is novice in marketting area. It didn't provide customer service in first 5 days of its release.
